Weigh In #3 and Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday! While I could use that as an excuse to skip my weekly weigh in, I actually used it as a motivator to go and stay for the entire meeting. I'm so glad I did. I lost a pound this week and it put me at my first 5 lbs. of my new journey! I checked out my "rewards" and I get a pat on the back! So, I gave myself a pat on the back. My next reward is a Starbucks Latte. I really need to rethink that one. I'm addicted to those and have been rewarding myself with them regularly (I bought one of those mega expensive Starbucks espresso refill tumblers so I get one espresso drink per day for the entire month of January. Not sure Starbucks will offer that again...I've definitely succeeded in getting my money's worth!) so I need something different. Maybe a new tumbler? That would be a great reward!!! Starting Weight: 169.4 lbs. Current Weight: 154.2 lbs. Current Week: -1.0 lbs. Total Weight Loss: 15.2 lbs.

Weigh In #2

This week wasn't as great as last week but that is bound to happen. I am grateful that I lost any weight but I was hoping for more. Hey, week 2 is tough on the Biggest Loser Ranch so maybe it's okay that it was tough for me too. Starting Weight: 169.4 lbs. Current Weight: 155.2 lbs. Current Week: -0.4 Total Weight Loss: 14.2 lbs. Next week is going to be a better week!

New Weigh In #1

Well, here we go! Weigh in #1 (again) was a total success!! Woohoo!! I ♥ Weight Watchers!!! Here are my updated results: Starting Weight: 169.4 lbs. Current Weight: 155.6 lbs. Current Week: -3.6 Total Weight Loss: 13.8 lbs. Can't wait to see what next week brings!!!

Back to WW!

Well...I did it I went back to Weight Watchers yesterday! I am paid up through June (couldn't pass up the 50% off!) so I need to take advantage of the system and really work it! Anyhoo...I couldn't stay for the meeting but I did get myself into the location so that I could at least weigh myself in. I was shocked by weigh in, although I shouldn't have been. I want to hold myself accountable with my weigh ins so here are my updated results: Starting Weight: 169.4 lbs. Current Weight: 159.2 lbs. Current Week: N/A Total Weight Loss: 10.2 lbs.   So sad that I've add 1/2 of my lost weight back on but at least I'm not back to 169+!!! Today I'm going to think of some weight loss goals and rewards. Tomorrow I'll post them!!   Thanks for checking in!    

Totally Random Post...

I am a Detroit Lions fan. There I said it. I got it out. I'm from a suburb of Detroit and grew up cheering on the Lions {much to the dismay of my Packer fan father!! Sorry Dad!}. So today I was scrolling around on the Detroit Free Press website and stumbled up on this little gem  {this link is not to the Detroit Freep website, I just found it there}. Too cute!!! Hurray for @kellybhall for sticking up for her man but you have to hand it to @DetroitKoolAid. Happy New Year!!

Happy 2014! I am NOT starting out this year with resolutions but rather goals. I greatly dislike the term "SMART Goals" because this is a term that is used at work almost daily (don't get me wrong, I love my job...just not that phrase!) but truly, they do make sense! So, rather than drone on and on about my goals, I'm going to just post them {and yes, I cheated, the first one has already be met...but I needed to start with a success!}. My goals for 2014: Rejoin Weight Watchers {done!} Eat breakfast daily Drink 8 glasses of water daily Limit diet soda intake Bring lunch to work 4 out of 5 days a week Exercise daily, even if it is only 30 minutes of walking on the treadmill! Participate in another 5K {maybe even run this one!} Get some scrapbooking done! {Those pictures won't scrap themselves!} Wear a size 6 again!
