A Few of MY Favorite Things!!

I might not be Oprah {nor will I ever likely be anything LIKE Oprah} but I do have some favorite things, and I'd like to share them with you! {These links do not attach to any sort of affiliate sites. I get nothing from directing you to them other than the satisfaction that you might end up as happy as I am! I also tried to direct you to the best deal that I could find online! You're welcome!}

1. Keurig Vue V500 {$99}

I received one of these back in May of 2013 as a result of a House Party that I hosted. I previously had a regular Keurig but am now head over heels in love with my Vue! Not only can I make regular coffee and tea but I can also use frother cups that allow me to turn any coffee/tea into a latte! I am in love!! Currently, I am drinking the Pumpkin Spice Latte, I dare say it is better than I've had at some of my local coffee joints. PLUS it is only 100 calories!

2. Harveys Seatbelt Indigo Lola Satchel {$234}

I love all Harveys Seatbelt Bags!! I have too many to list but as of recently, this little beauty has become my FAVORITE! I have even felt a little guilty for neglecting all my other bags!! Yikes! Anyway, this bag is HUGE and holds all of the things I need and more! Besides being huge, and sturdy {I can toss it around} it was Made in the USA. Yes, it is a little pricey, but I honestly think this beauty will likely last forever.

3. Origami Owl Lockets {prices vary}

Okay, this time my link will take you to an affiliate account. Why? Because it is mine! I am an Origami Owl Independent Designer and I love our products! We started out with lockets on necklaces but recently O2 has moved into bracelets. They have such FUN items!! You really need to check them out! Interested in learning more? Click here to join my Facebook page. Message me to find out more!

4. Costco Membership {$55}

We FINALLY got a Costco Warehouse in our community. The best part? It is on my side of town! We never have anything fun on my side of town {well, besides me! LOL!} but we finally have this. I have two favorite things available at Costco. The first is their Kirkland Pesto Sauce {$6.99} which my family loves on pasta and couscous {yummmy!} and the second item is their homemade mac-n-cheese. So delicious!! I'm really impressed with Costco. Now I've talked myself into heading there for dinner...

Well, I have many other favorites but I think I'll keep it at four for right now! This was fun sharing my favorites with you. I'll do it again soon!

WW...still and again!

Here we go...again. I've tried WW (formerly known as Weight Watchers) over and over and over again. July 28, 2018 I committed to starting again and taking it seriously. By January 1, 2019, I was down 15 lbs. from July and 20 lbs. over all. I made it through the holidays but unfortunately, I didn't make it through the new year. My will came crashing down and the weight is slowly going back on. Well, I've decided to take to blogging again hoping to find my will and motivation and get back up again. Here I go!!!

Dusting this thing off and trying again!

I’m honestly not sure what the draw is to blogging for me. It definitely isn’t the “money” as I pretty much don’t have any followers (and if I do, I thank you!) and literally have ZERO sponsors but I think for me it is a form of journaling and that may be the draw. Last night as I was winding down from the day, I decided to give WW another try. I’d been paying for their services for awhile and when I “work the program” I have a lot of success. However, I’ve been avoiding the program for about an month and have had no success...go figure. My goal is to give WW one more month, follow it as best as I can, and reevaluate my situation then. I’m choosing to do the Purple Plan because I feel like that is the best one for me, at the moment. Right now I need more zero point options and this plan has the most. I preplanned breakfast and lunch, both zero points, which leaves me with 16 points for dinner. My goal is to only use 12 so that 4 will carry over giving me a little bumper for my upcoming...

Clean Slate!

I have a clean slate! Well, kind of. Yesterday I walked back through the doors of Weight Watchers and decided to ask for a clean slate. I missed the last three weekends and decided that yesterday was going to be a very sad day for me in terms of weighing in. So, I walked in, told the receptionist that I was "starting over" and that is what I did! She deleted my previous history from the computer and I'm acting like a new member. So...my new starting weight is 161.6 lbs. and I'm going forward from there. I can do this. I have a good feeling about this. It's all on my shoulders but I really need to lose some weight this summer and I'd love to see goal by September 5th. Technically, it's "only" 20.6 lbs. but back when I was about 5 lbs. from goal, I thought I had it. Apparently I did not. (Insert sad face here.) There are 15 weeks between now and September 5th. There is a holiday on Monday (cookout at home...I've got this!) and a holiday July 4t...
